[MEncoder-users] transcode to dv avi type 1

Hello:

 

I have a bit of a strange request here.

 

A client is demanding that we send him our content in dv avi format even
though the source files are high quality mpeg2 and h.264.

 

I have been looking for a way to transcode mpeg2 to dv avi type 1 (audio
included in single file) but have not had much luck.  

 

Running a command in mencoder with "-ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=dvvideo"
doesn't create a video stream.  

 

Does anyone have any ideas on how this can be done?
