[MEncoder-users] Delete a sequence in a video?

Best way for me is:
1. make an edl file 
$mplayer -edlout movie.edl movie.avi
(press i for start and stop marks, then manualy adjust)
2. make movie commercialfree
$mencoder <options> -edl movie.edl movie.avi
