[MEncoder-users] Start position does not work for me.

I grub DVD title with length og 1:22:36. My line is:

$ mencoder -dvd-device /dev/hdc dvd://1 -aid 128 -sid 2 -oac copy -ovc
lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=709:vhq:autoaspect:vpass=1 -vf
crop=352:244:0:24 -ss 0:14:53 -endpos 1:22:36 -o /pub/tmp/1.avi

But I get this:

For "-ss 0:00:00 -endpos 0:14:50" it did work. What I want to do by
this is omitting of unreadable part of the disc.

The version of mencoder is 1.0rc1-4.1.1.
