By "wala", I think you mean "viola".

This shouldn't be difficult at all.  Try "mencoder source.vob -oac copy -ovc copy -of mpeg -mpegopts format=mpeg2 -o output.mpg" (you might need "-mc 0" and/or "-noskip" in there too).

But really, I think you're much better off using mencoder to do the entire thing.
