Given that with Snow rate control is more difficult to use/tune than
with lavc mpeg4, the simplest fix I'd find if I was in the same
situation would be do run yet another pass with the stats generated on
pass2. The trouble is, unfortunately, that you did not run the
"second" pass with "vpass=3"... So I guess you should do as Corey said
(vqscale = 1.5). In any case, if you could tell us how the resulting
video was looking like, it'd help us to tell you what to change.
