[FFmpeg-devel] Error Playing FLV streams

When I play back a flash video(flv) file from a http server, the flv_read_packet() in flvdec.c skips many packets. The log is as below:

[flv at 0x8387b30] skipping flv packet : type 68, size 6386789, flags 0

The problem does not occur when the same file is played from the local file system.

When the packets are skipped, sometimes audio does not work and sometimes video does not work. Sometimes audio and video go out of sync.

Does any additional information gets passed along with the flv stream when sent from http server which gives error with packet reading.

Any ideas?
