[Ffmpeg-devel] vcd file support

hi
i m building a application for i-frame detection using ffmpeg for
supported container formats and bitstreams.

i m not able to decode the vcd files (*.dat) using ffmpeg. 

Can anyone tell me that , is ffmpeg support .DAT (vcd files)
decoding.if yes plz. tell me what are the options to be given as a
input soas to support vcd files decoding.

Is it possible to add any patch in order to support vcd (.dat) files.?
