Option to enable bandwidth usage limit to rtmpdump
Hi, Attached is a patch to optionally enable bandwidth usage limit to rtmpdump. I did it to meet some requirements I had in my enviornment, hope someone finds it useful. Regards, -Rajesh.

Bandwidth limiting is already built into the RTMP protocol. You just need to set the bufferTime option to a smaller time. This patch is unnecessary.
Hi Howard, Setting the bufferTime option did not work very well in my environment, the download kept on getting terminated after sometime. Not exactly sure why. The actual problem in my environment was that any download that sustained a bigger rate of download than about 200K got automatically cut in an upstream router. This patch is modeled on similar feature in scp which works well in my situation. Thanks, -Rajesh. On Sat, May 15, 2010 at 6:38 PM, Howard Chu <hyc@highlandsun.com> wrote:
