I am trying to patch rtmp.c however none of the changes actually make it into the binary rtmpdump. I can make changes to rtmp.c which break the compiler however, changing the strings in the logging never displays the changes when running rtmpdump. For example, a string replace of "received ctrl" with "pink donuts" continues to print "received ctrl" when I run rtmpdump after a make clean. There is no install of librtmp on the system.

try make distclean -compn
There is no rule for distclean. Using make SHARED=true Creates a binary which includes my changes. However, this does not resolve the base problem. On May 5, 2015 7:23 AM, "compn" <tempn@mi.rr.com> wrote:
