[rtmpdump] Request to issue a Versioned Update to librtmp

Dear librtmp team, I am a neophyte with an appeal - can I please request that version 2.5 be issued for librtmp? There appears to be unofficial updates circulating but XBMC devs will not use them until an official update is provided. I am not joining the mailing list but if there is any commentary on why this can't be done, feel free to contact me directly. Thank you for any consideration on this request. Regards, Vijay Khurana
