[PATCH] RtmpSrv, support other ports
by Steven Penny 27 Jun '12

27 Jun '12

Current RtmpSrv works with port 1935. It was brought up and shot down horribly back in December http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/rtmpdump/2011-December/001739.html I came across a site using 19350 and this patch worked well. If you have environment variable set RTMPPORT, it will use it; otherwise default to 1935. Something like "export RTMPPORT=19350" should work in Bash. --- rtmpsrv.c | 2 ++ 1 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 0 deletions(-) diff --git a/rtmpsrv.c b/rtmpsrv.c index 9aa62f3..a44731b 100644 --- a/rtmpsrv.c +++ b/rtmpsrv.c @@ -1077,6 +1077,8 @@ main(int argc, char **argv) char *rtmpStreamingDevice = DEFAULT_HTTP_STREAMING_DEVICE; // streaming device, default 0.0.0.0 int nRtmpStreamingPort = 1935; // port + if (getenv("RTMPPORT")) + nRtmpStreamingPort = atoi(getenv("RTMPPORT")); RTMP_LogPrintf("RTMP Server %s\n", RTMPDUMP_VERSION); RTMP_LogPrintf("(c) 2010 Andrej Stepanchuk, Howard Chu; license: GPL\n\n"); -- 1.7.9

Bug: Segmentation fault due to infinite recursion
by Omer Enbar 13 Jun '12

Hello all, I've been using ffmpeg + librtmp for a while, and I've encountered a bug where the network gets disconnected and then reconnected, you get a segmentation fault after: WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) [h264 @ 0x3b124e0] error while decoding MB 23 14, bytestream (-4) WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) [h264 @ 0x3b124e0] concealing 426 DC, 426 AC, 426 MV errors WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) WriteN, RTMP send error 32 (136 bytes) [ This * 1000 ] Segmentation fault This seems to be caused by an infinite recursion (also present in the latest 2.4). WriteN->RTMP_Close->SendFCUnPublish->RTMP_SendPacket->WriteN->RTMP_Close Right now, I just patched it on my build to not call RTMP_Close in WriteN, but it's probably not a good solution. Regards, Omer Enbar.

Adobe Flash player (windows 7) vol 33 issue 3
by Michael 06 Jun '12

06 Jun '12

Greetings, I noticed in the example from the news letter, (vol 33 issue 3), that you are using Adobe Flash Player 11,1,102,55. I tried many different vers but wondered what you folks recommend as the base line vers for rtmpdump please? I'm using Ver 2.5 of rtmpdump. I set my path as well for rtmpdump wondered how or what is the proper way to set the path for the best possibe results with any vers of rtmpdump? Still have much to learn but always look forward to the news letter as the examples and further discussions have answered many of my questions. Thanks for all you folks do!! M Wilson

RtmpDumpHelper
by Steven Penny 06 Jun '12

06 Jun '12

We should add this program to the website. "When the attached dll of RTMPDumpHelper detects that RTMP connection (TCP Port 1935) is initiated by your Web browser, it automatically redirects the connection to your own computer (connection to 127.0.0.1)" 1. Start your browser (32-bit only atm) 2. Start RtmpDumpHelper 3. Start RtmpSrv 4. Start video 5. RtmpDump downloads http://stream-recorder.com/forum/rtmpdumphelper-t12719.html http://nirsoft.net/utils/rtmp_dump_helper.html

[PATCH] Allow rtmpsrv to respect live streams
by Steven Penny 02 Jun '12

02 Jun '12

Currently rtmpsrv does not add the "--live" parameter even when reading a live stream. This ultimately causes rtmpdump to fail. Current workarounds involve adding "--live" to the printed command and re-running rtmpdump. I pulled this code from KSV repo http://github.com/K-S-V/Scripts/downloads Change has been tested to work with http://www.ar.aljazeerasport.tv but any live stream should also be affected. --- rtmpsrv.c | 42 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1 files changed, 42 insertions(+), 0 deletions(-) diff --git a/rtmpsrv.c b/rtmpsrv.c index 9aa62f3..13d3e94 100644 --- a/rtmpsrv.c +++ b/rtmpsrv.c @@ -96,6 +96,7 @@ STREAMING_SERVER *rtmpServer = 0; // server structure pointer STREAMING_SERVER *startStreaming(const char *address, int port); void stopStreaming(STREAMING_SERVER * server); void AVreplace(AVal *src, const AVal *orig, const AVal *repl); +AVal AVcopy(AVal src); static const AVal av_dquote = AVC("\""); static const AVal av_escdquote = AVC("\\\""); @@ -599,6 +600,17 @@ ServeInvoke(STREAMING_SERVER *server, RTMP * r, RTMPPacket *packet, unsigned int if (obj.o_num > 5) r->Link.length = AMFProp_GetNumber(AMF_GetProp(&obj, NULL, 5)); */ + double StartFlag = 0; + AMFObjectProperty *Start = AMF_GetProp(&obj, NULL, 4); + if (!(Start->p_type == AMF_INVALID)) + StartFlag = AMFProp_GetNumber(Start); + r->Link.app = AVcopy(r->Link.app); + if (StartFlag == -1000 || (r->Link.app.av_val && strstr(r->Link.app.av_val, "live"))) + { + StartFlag = -1000; + server->arglen += 7; + server->argc += 1; + } if (r->Link.tcUrl.av_len) { len = server->arglen + r->Link.playpath.av_len + 4 + @@ -666,6 +678,17 @@ ServeInvoke(STREAMING_SERVER *server, RTMP * r, RTMPPacket *packet, unsigned int ptr = dumpAMF(&r->Link.extras, ptr, argv, &argc); AMF_Reset(&r->Link.extras); } + if (StartFlag == -1000) + { + argv[argc].av_val = ptr + 1; + argv[argc++].av_len = 6; + ptr += sprintf(ptr, " --live"); + } + if (r->Link.extras.o_num) + { + ptr = dumpAMF(&r->Link.extras, ptr, argv, &argc); + AMF_Reset(&r->Link.extras); + } argv[argc].av_val = ptr + 1; argv[argc++].av_len = 2; argv[argc].av_val = ptr + 5; @@ -1178,3 +1201,22 @@ AVreplace(AVal *src, const AVal *orig, const AVal *repl) src->av_val = dest; src->av_len = dptr - dest; } + +AVal +AVcopy(AVal src) +{ + AVal dst; + if (src.av_len) + { + dst.av_val = malloc(src.av_len + 1); + memcpy(dst.av_val, src.av_val, src.av_len); + dst.av_val[src.av_len] = '\0'; + dst.av_len = src.av_len; + } + else + { + dst.av_val = NULL; + dst.av_len = 0; + } + return dst; +} -- 1.7.9
