Impossible to dump from werder.tv/de

Hi, I have problems with the website "http://www.werder.tv/de/". When you visit the site you can found an example-video! At the Website you can see a picture-slideshow. Under the slideshow you can see and click some numbers. When you click on the number "7" you can found an example-video, with the german title "WERDER.TV - Wie registriere ich mich ..." ("WERDER.TV - How register me ...") Some facts about the stream: The stream works with an XML-file! You can open it directly under: http://www.werder.tv/playlistXML.php?id=929 The stream is using "RTMPTE"! 1. I have try to work with "RTMPSUCK"! 2. I have try to work with "RTMPSRV"! 3. I have try to work direct with "RTMPDUMP", but I can´t find the right commandline! Is it possible that is impossible for RTMPDUMP??? Nothin helps ! I hope this posting helps! Greetings Sven

Linking problem on OS-X

Hi, after building ffmpeg with librtmp in a folder other than /usr/local librtmp couldn't be found. I can't code C and don't know how Macs work. But this solves the problem. Searching for key frames

Hi, I've had intermittent problems where in some (hard to reproduce) cases after an rtmp stream failure where the resulting flv file is filled with megabytes of null chars at the end. This clearly breaks any attempts at resuming the stream. Sometimes you don't get the null chars but just have a 'corrupt' file where I guess a full frame hasn't been written to the file when the stream failed. I was planning or writing a file clean-up function which scanned the file to reliably find the last valid key frame and then correct the file for resuming. Maybe if it was efficient enough I could improve the rtmpdump GetLastKeyframe() function to do this automatically. The --skip function really does not seem to work for me in these cases and I would typically get something like: ERROR: Last tag size must be greater/equal zero (prevTagSize=-886083377) and smaller then filesize, corrupt file! DEBUG: Failed to get last keyframe. The question I have is: What is a good algorithm for finding key frames? Is there a signature I should search for? Would a backwards search be robust enough? Failing that, if I had to do a forward search (i.e. from the beginning of the file) what algo' should be used? Any help or tips would be appreciated... Thanks

rtmpdump issue/bug when server requires a novel(?) response (not SWF verfication issue)

Browsing over at the stream-recorder.com forums I saw this: http://stream-recorder.com/forum/live-tv69-hu-rtmpdump-and-stream-subscribe… I tried to replicate it and to my surprise there seems to be some kind of inability of rtmpdump to access this server. I do not think that this has something to do with SWF verification /Flash 10 ussue. Summary (note that this is a sex-oriented site): DEBUG: Protocol : RTMP DEBUG: Hostname : 195.228.156.167 DEBUG: Port : 1935 DEBUG: Playpath : channel0_0_hi DEBUG: tcUrl : rtmp://195.228.156.167/webtv DEBUG: swfUrl : http://tv69.hu/indexflash.swf DEBUG: pageUrl : http://live.tv69.hu/video.php?channel=channel0_0_hi DEBUG: app : webtv DEBUG: live : yes After the connection succeeds.... Client *must* send: error code NetConnection.Call.Failed.. level error C global C login Server responds with: global peakconncnt conncnt maxconncnt and only then the client is allowed to send a "createStream" command. (I pasted the above from the post's code section, sorry for the lack of "proper" tcpdump output) At the moment, rtmpdump does not provide the server with the above code snippet so the server rejects the connection with an impressive: level error code NetStream.Failed description 'You are not allowed to play the stream' I do believe it is something that has to do with rtmpdump's code and/or features, that's why I forward this to this list.

rtmpsuck fails on some streams.

Consider the following page: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/how_i_met_your_mother/video/?play=true&pid=39v… The embedded video there plays in Flash (player 10.1.102.65) when I don't have rtmpsuck set up, but when I proxy it through rtmpsuck, it times out, and tells me that the video is unavailable. The short version of the rtmpsuck output is below; the long version (with -z) is attached. I haven't seen significant mention of rtmpsuck on the mailing list in a while, so I wanted to make sure this was a known issue. (I'm using current SVN, Ubuntu 10.04, x86_64.) Hi, list Web server hosting player.swf requires proper HTTP Referer to be set, so I cannot use -W option directly, I wonder how to decompress and calculate swfhash manually ? Especially how to decompress swf file properly ? I tried swfcombine and flasm command line utilities, but their output differs while input equal. -- with regards Eshengazin S. Kuat
