[PATCH] building darwin shared lib

As promised, build fixes for darwin platform. Darwin supports two types of shared libs, bundles (similar to Linux .so files) and dylibs. The main difference is bundles can be unloaded, dylibs cannot, so we build librtmp as a bundle so we can unload it. Note that in the lib Makefile, darwin needs XLDFLAGS ref'ed as also on darwin, we can build against various SDKs (10.4/10.5/10.6). This would get set via some external Makefile for building on a newer OSX version to be runtime compatible under an older OSX. FCSubscribe problems

Hello everyone, this is my first time on the list and I have a question regarding the subscribe option in rtmpdump/librtmp. I'm trying to pull a live feed from the edgecast CDN which now uses FCSubscribe. I've been going through packet dumps with wireshark looking at the differences between a regular flash player when it pulls a feed from the CDN and when rtmpdump does it. It seems that the flash player issues FCsubscribe and then the createStream while rtmpdump/librtmp issues createStream first then FCsubscribe. I'm not sure if this is the source of the problem but the end result with rtmpdump is that I get a response back that the stream is not found. Is there an a problem with my command arguments or is there a problem with compatibility? Also I've noticed that rtmpdump does not allow me to set a playpath without the actual stream which should be actually taken from the subscribe parameter instead. I've included my command arguments and partial packet dumps from both rtmpdump and flash player. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Launchpad PPA

We (XBMC) are working on the best way for packaging librtmp, and ideally we could just have our users install from the PPA [1], though it seems to be unmaintained. Also, I see that it is packaged for Maverick [2], though this does little to help most current users. Are there plans to get this going again and begin hosting updated packages?
