hi i'd like to compile mplayer for ppc on an i386 since there is no develpoment environment for it (apart from a cross compiler ;). I've overcome such simple obstacles as he codec-cfg program which is compiled and run during make, but th ewhole process failes either during configure when trying to run the tests for pthread, or when it comes to linking the binary statically... i'd like to know: is it even possible to cross compile mplayer for diffferent targets than the arm platform? -- Christian Herzog <christianherzog@gmx.net>
