[Automatic answer: RTFM (read DOCS, FAQ), also read DOCS/bugreports.html] Hello,
There is a bug which couses text blinking when mplayer plays subtitle or time of movie accessed via 'o' key.
When I play subtitle normally down the monitor, text doesn't blink, when I use - o button or with -subpos 0 - params, that place text on the top of monitor, texts starts to blink.
Thanks for correcting it
RTFM and RTFb (b=bugreports.html). If you want a bug fixed you have to explain what situation is causing it. My guess is you're using -vo dga or something, in which case you need to use -double (or put it in your config file) to prevent osd flicker. Hi, no, I use -vo xvidix I use MPlayer rc4 - gcc 3.0.4 Here is output: cijoml@notas:~/filmy/Avalon$ > mplayer Avalon.avi -sub test.sub -ss 00:19:15 Using GNU internationalization Original domain: messages Original dirname: /usr/share/locale Current domain: mplayer Current dirname: /usr/local/share/locale MPlayer 0.90rc4-3.0.4 (C) 2000-2003 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS) CPU: Intel Celeron 2/Pentium III Coppermine,Geyserville (Family: 6, Stepping: 6)Detected cache-line size is 32 bytes CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 0 Compiled for x86 CPU with extensions: MMX MMX2 SSE Reading config file /usr/local/etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf: No such file or directory Reading config file /home/cijoml/.mplayer/config Reading /home/cijoml/.mplayer/codecs.conf: can't open '/home/cijoml/.mplayer/codecs.conf': No such file or directory Reading /usr/local/etc/mplayer/codecs.conf: 50 audio & 135 video codecs font: can't open file: /home/cijoml/.mplayer/font/font.desc Font /usr/local/share/mplayer/font/font.desc loaded successfully!
