Re: [MPlayer-users] don't exit window if going to play next file

[Automatic answer: RTFM (read DOCS, FAQ), also read DOCS/bugreports.html] Is it possible (or could be implemented?) to play more files (mplayer file1.avi file2.avi) and do not exit the movie window between files?
I mean this: MPlayer is playing file in fullscreen (-vo sdl -vm) using sdl:xv ... when file1 finished, mplayer will change screen resolution, goes back from fullscreen, I see my xterm loading file2, then it goes fullscreen again... It would be nice to see only black screen and no vm switching between two files.
In gmplayer (mplayer with gui) You can create a playlist (I use this for 2CD divixes) so I think that there is such option for mplayer (without gui) too.

Maybe also try -fixedvo (or is it -fixed_vo?) which is supposed to not redraw the 'window' each time it opens a file. You may also try creating a playlist file and then using the above and -playlist <playlist.file> Just my $0.02US. /S.
