I downloaded libcdio 0.79 and installed it. I have 2 systems. My desktop AMD64 4200+ and a laptop Turion 2200+ After installing libcdio, reconfiguring RC2, make and make install on both machines I can play the music CD on the laptop no problem. When I play the music CD on the desktop it skips every 2 seconds. Why is it doing this and what might I do to stop it? The same CD player plays videos just fine. There are no errors that print or anything like that. Just the normal status line (time index) and every 2 seconds it pauses.
