Mplayer and TV capture
I know it is not 'supported' or says so in the FAQ, but I have TV capture issues that I hope someone might be able to help me solve....I successfully capture, but it is too damned fast and I have to PLAY the captured file at --speed .65, here is what I am using to capture with a Wintv Card and SB live: Code: mencoder -tv on:driver=v4l:norm=ntsc:device =/dev/video0:adevice=/dev/dsp2:width=320:height=240:chanlist=us-cable:channel=2: audiorate=48000 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1000:vme=5 -oac copy -ofps 25 Using GNU internationalization Original domain: messages Original dirname: /usr/share/locale Current domain: mplayer Current dirname: /usr/share/locale MEncoder 0.90rc4-3.2.2 (C) 2000-2003 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS) CPU: Advanced Micro Devices Athlon 4 PM Palomino/Athlon MP Multiprocessor/Athlon XP eXtreme Performance (Family: 6, Stepping: 2) Detected cache-line size is 64 bytes CPUflags: Type: 6 MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 1 3DNow2: 1 SSE: 1 SSE2: 0 Reading /home/bob/.mplayer/codecs.conf: can't open '/home/bob/.mplayer/codecs.co nf': No such file or directory Reading /usr/share/mplayer/codecs.conf: 50 audio & 135 video codecs File not found: 'frameno.avi' Reading config file /home/bob/.mplayer/mencoder: No such file or directory success: format: 0 data: 0x0 - 0x0 TV detected! ;-) Selected driver: v4l name: Video 4 Linux input author: Alex Beregszaszi <alex@naxine.org> comment: under development Selected device: BT878(Hauppauge (bt878)) Capabilites: capture tuner overlay clipping frameram scales Device type: 235 Supported sizes: 48x32 => 768x480 Inputs: 4 0: Television: tuner audio tv camera (tuner:1, norm:ntsc) 1: Composite1: audio camera (tuner:0, norm:ntsc) 2: S-Video: audio camera (tuner:0, norm:ntsc) 3: Composite3: audio camera (tuner:0, norm:ntsc) Card reports an unknown audio mode ! Now to play this file I still have to set the "-speed .65" option ( shomewhere around >65 to .75 makes it right). Any ideas? did I miss somthing in the tome-ish documentation on speed and codec calling?? can someone pint me to the right docs to RTFM?
