Hi, while recording from (anlaog) TV with WinTV/Go (old!) with `mencoder -tv input=0:driver=v4l:width=768:height=576:adevice=/dev/dsp1 tv:// -ovc lavc -oac lavc -endpos 10,0 -o out.avi` I get Micky-Mouse-Effekt (like 2x-speed playback) on the sound. With /dev/dsp2 it is like 3x-speed. But the length of the sound fits to the video. I have installed mplayer 1.0pre2 from debs, but with the 1.0pre3 I get same results. without adivice=/dev/dsp1, I get the message: Selected device: BT878(Hauppauge (bt878)) Capabilites: capture tuner overlay clipping frameram scales Device type: 235 Supported sizes: 48x32 => 924x576 Inputs: 4 0: Television: tuner audio tv camera (tuner:1, norm:pal) 1: Composite1: audio camera (tuner:0, norm:pal) 2: S-Video: audio camera (tuner:0, norm:pal) 3: Composite3: audio camera (tuner:0, norm:pal) Card reports an unknown audio mode ! (Without loading kernel-module btaudio I can't record sound.) lspci -v 02:0b.0 Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 (rev 02) Subsystem: Hauppauge computer works Inc.
