Problem: default skin is in the right location (/usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin) but is not found after unzipping Solution: do a "chmod a+x *" in the Skin directory as root do a recursive "chmod a+r *" in the Skin directories as root. Please _repair_ the file permissions in the Skin archive!
