just wanted to add my 2 cents... there are two programs for windows that require the wma licenses, but will strip drm from your file unfuck and freeme the source code for freeme is on the net. jon johanson has it on his site, but i lost the addy. the only problem with playing drm stuff is you need the licenses... and licenses are only provided for windows and mac. so it shouldnt be too hard to be able to code playing drm if you have the license, like what decss-jon or the freeme/unfuck people did. cracking the wma/wmv encryption might be a bit harder tho... just like how no one can play the old DVD type DIVX cds... what freeme did was perfect for microsoft trying to get people to upgrade to windows media 8/9 drm, by unhooking wmv7 files microsoft can say that only wmv9 files are safe from freeme now.
