sometime between r21824 and r22229 a strange bug was introducted that causes the usage of -cache to cause -ss to overshoot, often by minutes. the inaccuracy appears to increase with higher values of -ss. for example, "-nocache -ss 50:00" will start at 50:00, but "-cache 1024 -ss 50:00" will start at 52:30. the value of cache specified does not appear to matter. on one dvd I have, -ss 53:00 will completely miss the title all together even though its length is 1:09:00
