Accessing DVD backup in hard disk

      Hello.

I have made a backup of a DVD in the hard disk and
want to use the backup as if it were the DVD. That is,
with the DVD I could just say

$ mplayer dvd://1

to play title 1.

Is it possible to tell mplayer to play the title 1
from the backup in the hard disk, which is found at
/extra/dvd/XMEN/VIDEO_TS/ ? How?
