Is there a way to combine the contents of multiple CDs of a movie into a single entity to avoid changing CDs. One option would be to combine them into a big iso file to be stored on a harddisk rather than an actual CD.

Huh, AFAIK mencoder can't join videos, maybe avidemux can help. If mencoder can do it after all, someone hit me now please *g* One way or another, IMHO joining to harddisk every multi-CD-movie I'd like to watch would be more painful than getting up to change CDs during the movie... The feature would help simplify managing the CDs or their images on the HDD; I am sure a few pauses in between would be required :) Still looking for a solution.
