Maybe thats trivial. I can not use xvidix (nvidia) and vidix at all as user. I remember that it was a subsubject of some thread but I can not find it. Problem is still the same: vidixlib: dlopen error: /usr/lib/mplayer/vidix/nvida_vid.so: nie można otworzyć pliku obiektu dzielonego: Nie ma takiego pliku ani katalogu (can not open shared object: no such file or dircrory) vosub_vidix: Couldn't find working VIDIX driver There is of course /usr/lib/mplayer/vidix/nvida_vid.so - with 1755 privileges. It does not work even with sudo (sudo mplayer). For root it works excellent (therefore I would like to enable vidix for all).
