Hi Martin, Thanks for answering my question.
Either put the text into the jpegs using the gimp or ImageMagick efore encoding the movie,
I have tried this, but it is not a good way.
or (much easier) create a subtitle file. There is a section in DOCS/documentation.html on subtitles and an example file DOCS/tech/mpsubs.sub.
This is a better idea. I have never created subtitle file before. And for 'DOCS/documentation.html' and 'DOCS/tech/mpsubs.sub', where are they? Can you tell me the full url? Alison
