Hey guys... nice work on Sorenson v3. Heard about it on slashdot first, and will try it out soon. But I find this kind of odd in a way. Because last week in the 20021106 snapshot, I found either a bug or a feature that I was able to get it to display a single frame from the LOTR trailer (it is in sorenson v3, and used some codec already in that happened to read it, but it is slightly skewed) And I wasn't using and dll's from QT5 at all, nor was this new code was in there yet I think. The reason I found this odd was I thought Sorenson v3 was crackible without the dlls. Maybe it is, I dunno =) Jesse

I think this because the 1st picture (AFAIK it is used to make your QT player to have nice background around the main movie) is stored in different (first) track. The video is stored in track no.2. There's some switch to force mplayer to play the 2nd track - and I guess it won't work :-) --=[ Zdik Kudrle ]=------------------------------------------------------ comp: Penguin.PHP.SQL mailto:xkudrle@fi.muni.cz misc: music.philo.1984 http://www.fi.muni.cz/~xkudrle ----------[ The Spice extends life, the Spice expands consciousness ]----

What you saw was probably the jpeg splash screen, not the first frame of the actual trailer. Remember that QT may contain more than just video and sound. -- MPlayer RPMs maintainer: http://www.piorunek.pl/~dominik/linux/pkgs/mplayer/ "The Universe doesn't give you any points for doing things that are easy." -- Sheridan to Garibaldi in Babylon 5:"The Geometry of Shadows"
