I am trying to compile MPlayer on my SuSE 9.3 box which is running an AMD 64 Turion-ML30 processor. Same old FAQ. Either use a different -vo to get hardware scaling, or use "-zoom" for (slow) software scaling.

Always *g*. Though the problem in your case is what we consider a bug: that /usr/X11R6/lib dir contains the 32 bit libs instead of the 64 bit ones (those are in /usr/X11R6/lib64). CVS configure has been fixed to find the ones it can link against. pre7 will probably work too if you specify --with-x11libdir=/usr/X11R6/lib64 to configure. Greetings, Reimar Döffinger
