Hi! I'm trying to encode a live mpeg2 stream from a dvb card to divx format. I've seen that mencoder encode well the first bytes ( it has a cache of 4096), then it loose too mutch of quality. This is the command I use: mydvbstream -f 11554 -p H -s 27500 2221 2231|ts2ps 2221 2231| mencoder -ovc divx4 -oac mp3lame -o out.avi -divx4opts q=5:br=1100 -cache 4096 - I hope someone can help me.
