[Automatic answer: RTFM (read DOCS, FAQ), also read DOCS/bugreports.html] Hello,
I have a graphics card with TV-out based on ATI Rage 128 chipset.
I have also tried "-vo vesa:vidix" as it is said (in the documentation) to be the only output driver where both TV-out and hardware scaling are possible with ATI, but it doesn't work at all. mplayer seems to crash and leave console in graphics mode making it unusable.
Try -vo vesa:vidix -vc ffmpeg12 ...... since default decoder from libmpeg2 does'nt work for vesa:vidix. A.V.Kuznetsov
