frame-accurate playback/encoding
So ... it looks like G2 in CVS has -frames ... how about -frames 100:200 or something like that? Or throw out the whole mess and have a unified syntax for playback/encoding ranges. -range 10f:30f -range 10s:25.3s -range 1M:2M -range 10s5f:30s10f -range 10s5f:30.33 -range 10s: -range :25.3s et cetera. -joseph (p.s. It has always bugged me that "endPos" is really "endDuration".)

Seeking to a frame offset is only possible in a few specific file formats...so I'm not sure it makes sense to try to do it. Rich
