Hi, I notice that the memory allocated (if you use a -cache switch) when playing from a playlist is not freed up before memory is again allocated for the next file. Checked with MPlayer 0.90rc5-3.2 which is actually 0.90 For example, if I use mplayer -cache 20000 *mp3 memory used by mplayer increases by ~20M for each file played. This was easily visible using top. - Deepak
