Re: [MPlayer-users] using a remote with mplayer
Have you RTFM in regards to LIRC and MPlayer? LIRC = Linux InfraRed Control (IIRC that is) /S. Smith ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael D. [Automatic answer: RTFM (read DOCS, FAQ), also read DOCS/bugreports.html] Anyone,
Have any suggestions on using a remote with mplayer?
I have a mp3anywhere (mp3remote) from x10.com, receiver model number MR26A. There is an xmms plugin for it called x10mp3 but nothing generic or for mplayer. If any programs existed that would launch commands when receiving input from the remote, I think the "slave mode protocol" could be used to control an existing process of mplayer.
Any ideas?
Michael
