hi! I'm here still trying to get a good a/v sync with the v4l capture mode. i've asked to several people, and someone on the mplayer channel says it's possible to use the btaudio device to capture the audio with this command line: mplayer -vo xv -fs -tv\ on:driver=v4l:device=/dev/video:input=0:norm=PAL:channel=E2:\ chanlist=europe-west:width=640:height=480:outfmt=yuy2:\ adevice=/dev/dsp2:amode=1:audiorate=32000:forcechan=2 -nocache but it doesn't work for me (no audio) so i'm trying with the loopback cable, and i have a very bad a/v sync, is there a way to force a sync in this situation ? i mean, using the loopback cable is there a way to control the audio syncronization ? my settings are: vo = xv ao = oss (tried also with alsa9) cpu = Athlon 2200 xp 1Gb ram capturing video without any postprocessing results in 1% cpu usage, while capturing video with `-vop pp=lb' results in a 40% usage. any suggestion ? thanks again ! -- Giuseppe Ciotta (string 72 101 108 108 111)
