Sorry if it's an old topic but I have two questions about mplayer CVS:

Why is the repository called main and not mplayer? as it's the main trunk.

Why don't you include fonts, codecs or skins into CVS (as "... co skins" or in a new directory for example)? fonts - no sense. they are generated output. like binary packages :) skins - they are in cvs. codecs - why? they not change.

CVS is very comfortable to use, why not include all to CVS? FTP is very compofrtable to. every program has its own use.
