no, swscale supports YV12, I420=IYUV, YUY2, BGR32, BGR24 as inputs, look at the just commited vo_x11.c as an example on how to use it
Or Cris just forgot download libavcodec CVS ;) nick, i just wanted to say that the swscaler does support other formats than yv12, allthough SwScale_YV12slice() does not, swScale() does
