Looks like an endianness issue. BTW If I recall correctly, there has been a patch for VMnc committed to CVS recently.
thanks Ivo, I will try that. I just grabbed the CVS download package, and don't see it there. I will have to make changes to the firewall to grap cvs, and am running out of time today.
