This happens in mplayer-0.90rc4 and the cvs version I checked out today. If the gui is enabled, and ONLY if the gui is enabled, the quicktime video at http://homepage.mac.com/mpeters/babycar.qt plays upside down. I have tried with two different skins. It plays normally using mplayer w/o the gui.
My MPlayer is configured with the attached configure script. I'm using the qt6 tarballs for quicktime support.
I haven't (so far) found any other files (even quicktime) that this happens with.
