No, mga_vid I remember right didn't work with Millenium-cards. Only output devices which I remember working with Millenium were: x11, fbdev, directfb (somehow) To get fbdev work, one should have fbdev-modules loaded in kernel. # modprobe fbdev Also under X11, having 'Option "UseFBDEv"' in the "Device" section of /etc/X11/XF86Config file was a good idea. But note!, you won't be able to start X then if your kernel fb-modules does not work. (matroxfb_base, matroxfb_misc, ...)
