some of the dll's are just copies of the files from win32 installers, others are patched versions so they will not work. but uhh, just use mplayer on windows http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32-beta/mplayer-mingw32-1.0pre3.... it works damn awesome on 98/2000. but if you want to use other codecs, search for real alternative and quicktime alternative, they can make your wmp play rm and quicktime. also you might want to try media player classic, its a little hacked ver of wmp.
