Hi, I Installed on my red hat box, and since I also feel its nessary to justify why I'm runing redhat, it was the closest cd handy after a hard drive crash. Anyway I downgraded gcc, got everything compiled and installed with no problems. but when i try to run mplayer it tells me i dont have a config file installed. Is there a step i missed to make the config fiele? Does someone have an exeample config file so i can look at it. You can also use --with-datadir option to have a centralized repository, such as /etc/mplayer. -- Guillaume Rousse <rousse@ccr.jussieu.fr> GPG key http://lis.snv.jussieu.fr/~rousse/gpgkey.html
