for a couple of years I had sooooo many nightmares with encodings translation that now I'm beginning to use UTF8 everywhere, if not else to forget about encodings altogether. Wouldn't it be a good idea to iconv all man pages?

My groff can handle it just fine. But then again, Fedora has been pure-UTF8 for a couple of years now.
