i propose we split mplayer-docs into two lists: mplayer-docs and mplayer-translation. many developers are probably discouraged from being on -docs because it's flooded with so many translation patches that most of us don't even understand, much less care about. i'm subscribed to -docs, but i find it hard to keep up with all the real changes among all the translation-related stuff. rich

I agree wholeheartedly. mplayer-translations perhaps? R. -- MPlayer RPMs maintainer: http://greysector.rangers.eu.org/mplayer/ "I am Grey. I stand between the candle and the star. We are Grey. We stand between the darkness ... and the light." -- Delenn in Grey Council in Babylon 5:"Babylon Squared"

Sure, why not. Diego

Mailing list created, start subscribing, I'll soon divert the CVS logs to MPlayer-translations. http://mplayerhq.hu/mailman/listinfo/mplayer-translations And if you have been scared by the amount of traffic on MPlayer-DOCS so far, now would be a good moment to reconsider and subscribe. Diego

All of them? I'm not sure if the English ones shouldn't go to -docs.
The link in confirmation email still points to nothing. IMNSHO it would look much better either without the link or with one pointing to something. No, just the translations will go to -translations, the originals remain here. Diego

CVS logs for the translations now go to MPlayer-translations. If any problems crop up, please report them here. Diego

Sounds like a good idea to me; this was part of the reason why I was reluctant to join -docs initially, when it first split off from -dev-eng. It turns out that some of the traffic is of interest to me after all, but the translation-related things are still above my head. -- The Wanderer Warning: Simply because I argue an issue does not mean I agree with any side of it. Sounds like a good idea, one question, is english the official language?

What would be the point of choosing another? And which one, Esperanto? ;) R. -- MPlayer RPMs maintainer: http://greysector.rangers.eu.org/mplayer/ "I am Grey. I stand between the candle and the star. No, just wondered if hungary "still" was the official language. (or what it started with)
