Is this a good idea? And what is the reason to do that? Because it is different from what all mirror's do currently which will result in a lot of broken links all over the place (ie on 3rd party websites). We already have a damn lot of 404s because we moved a few pages months ago. Attila Kinali -- wer soviel schoggi isst, kann sowieso nicht dumm sein ;-) -- Sandra

I always found the homepage subdir unnecessary and annoying.

None of the mirrors are currently in sync. When they are, they won't have broken links. There is a redirect in the Apache configuration, we don't get 404s because of this... Diego

I'm not talking about the mirrors. We can control them, we can solve them. I'm talking about the thousands of sites linking to us. Attila Kinai -- wer soviel schoggi isst, kann sowieso nicht dumm sein ;-) -- Sandra

For them we have a redirect in the Apache configuration. Diego
