Umm, this is an example *MPlayer* config file, I think you would have to add an example MEncoder config file for this to make sense. Diego

Oops - didn't realize that this was specific. Will fix. -- The Wanderer Warning: Simply because I argue an issue does not mean I agree with any side of it. Secrecy is the beginning of tyranny.

...wait, where *is* it specified that the examples are specifally for a MPlayer config file (i.e., ~/.mplayer/config)? As far as I can tell, the preceding paragraph is just a general overview of supported config files, and the examples are the generic "could go anywhere" type. I don't see anything to indicate that the examples are specifically for a MPlayer config file, other than the fact that all of the previously existing ones were appropriate for MPlayer. I'm not convinced that this does need to go under a separate heading, and if it does, I'm not sure how to properly delimit it. -- The Wanderer Warning: Simply because I argue an issue does not mean I agree with any side of it. You are right, it's not explicit at all and possibly a bit confusing. What do people have in their MEncoder config files anyway? Maybe we could come up with a good example. Diego
