I believe this FAQ entry is completely outdated. Are there any systems without inttypes.h left?
Unless somebody protests I will remove that FAQ entry for being outdated, along with some other ancient FAQ entries.
Some thing in the configure script seems to be outdated as well since it links to a non-existing file:
die "Cannot find header either inttypes.h or bitypes.h (see DOCS/HTML/$_doc_lang/faq.html
along with some other entries (see `grep "DOCS/HTML" configure`) I don't know if that issue belongs to the developers' or the documentation section, but I guess it's the latter. Sebastian
