[PATCH] libdvdread 0.9.5 update
Here is a patch to update libdvdread to version 0.9.5. This is just the functional part without the cosmetics. Testing is welcome, especially on 64 bits. It works on my AMD K6-III, I'll try on PPC tomorrow. What would be the best way to benchmark this? Diego

I left out a small hunk from the patch, sorry. Diego

I'd say commmit: the sooner we sync with 0.9.7 the sooner we can fix the broken navigation code

I would really like to see some tests on 64 bits first and I would also prefer some benchmarking to be done. What is the best way to benchmark this? Something like mplayer -benchmark -dumpstream -dumpfile /dev/null ? Diego

I would really like to see some tests on 64 bits first and I would also prefer some benchmarking to be done. What is the best way to benchmark this? Something like
mplayer -benchmark -dumpstream -dumpfile /dev/null
-benchmark does not work in this combination. Nico? Diego

The -dumpstream code is before any of the MPlayer timing measurements. -benchmark -dumpvideo might work (and -dumpvideo/-dumpaudio is probably a good idea to test anyway, because like this the demuxer is used which might have a different access pattern than a simple dumpstream), otherwise just using "time" should be good enough. I ran some basic benchmarks, there seemed to be no slowdown, a small speedup if at all. I'll be applying the patch in a few moments. Diego

I forgot to ask: is there any reason why we're not updating to 0.9.7? We're doing it in multiple steps, I'll be sending a patch for 0.9.6 in a short moment. Diego
