CVS mplayer is exhibiting a bug where when you play a movie with AC3 passthrough (using alsa in my case), the audio is fine until you pause it, and after you resume, it is jittery/skippy. MPlayer 0.90rc5 does not have this problem. I am calling mplayer this way: mplayer file-with-ac3-sound.avi -ao alsa9 -ac hwac3 Again it plays fine only until I pause it.
