Has anyone tested/played with the patch? Did it break anything? It breaks syncing with avifile. You should send this patch & description to the avifile authors (Eugene Kuznetsov), so they can accept it and apply to their cvs. Then i can merge again and we'll have this fixed :)
I've done that already, both Eugene Kuznetsov and Zdenek Kabelac have a copy of that patch for avifile-0.6-cvs, but upto now, nothing appeared in their CVS tree.
