Hi team, A'rpi, I don't know what your release timeframe is, but these are the last few items that I'm planning to finish for the next release (meant to finish them this weekend, but hopefully in the next few days): - RoQ video (only a few small visual artifacts left) - QT RLE variants - get FILM seeking correct (still need your help on this) After I finish these tasks, I'm taking a break from MPlayer development. I've been hacking on MPlayer pretty obsessively for the last 3 months. Now I want to work on a few other projects, including some research that is tangentially related to MPlayer and will hopefully help the project in the codec department. I've gained a ton of experience in codec development in the last few months and now I want to move up to something more advanced. I'll still lurk around, answer questions, and probably even commit a patch every now and again. But you won't see as many random new codecs every week...:) Thanks... -- -Mike Melanson
